Catalyst 137, situated in Kitchener, Ontario, is a large-scale redevelopment of a former tire warehouse into a technology hub, specifically focused on the Internet of Things (IoT) sector. This facility aims to be the world’s largest IoT manufacturing space, providing a comprehensive ecosystem for companies to accelerate their innovations from concept to market, anchored by their key tenant Miovision. The space offers a range of workspace solutions, from individual co-working desks in “Catalyst Commons” to expansive private offices, catering to businesses of all sizes.

WalterFedy provided civil engineering design and construction services to support the project, including design of 400m long section of Iron Horse Trail and design of Glasgow Street fronting the project. WalterFedy also provided contract administration support to Zehr Group for all exterior works associated with the project.
