Last week, our team swapped our laptops and screen protectors for hockey sticks and helmets to shut out homelessness with Hockey Helps the Homeless, proving that our teamwork looks just as good on the ice as it does in the office.

Each year, thousands of players, donors and volunteers unite behind the belief that “every Canadian should have a place to call home.

Hockey Helps the Homeless is a volunteer-driven not-for-profit organization that hosts Pro-Am hockey tournaments across Canada, leveraging our shared love of hockey with a powerful social mission.

This year’s tournament kicked off in the Waterloo Region, raising a total of $352,000 for six local charity partners. We’re proud to share that WalterFedy and AEC raised $18,690.28 towards that total, with 100% of net proceeds staying local, ensuring direct impact in our community.

Thank you to everyone who laced up, supported, donated, cheered, or volunteered. Until next year!
