The recent launch of the Canadian Association for the Practice of Architecture (CAPA) reflects an important industry truth: delivering exceptional projects requires more than great design. It requires a business environment that enables architectural practices to invest, innovate, and thrive.
Formed in response to shared challenges facing architectural firms across the country, CAPA brings together 23 of Canada’s largest architectural practices to strengthen the business environment for architecture through a coordinated national effort focused on the realities of practice. As a founding member, WalterFedy is proud to support this important initiative.

A Changing Industry Requires Advocacy
Architecture is a highly specialized profession with business realities that are distinct within the broader consulting sector. Its mandate includes advancing best practices in procurement and contracting, promoting fair and effective business conditions, and supporting a healthy, resilient, and competitive future for firms across Canada.
