Managing our most valuable resource

As our communities continue to grow, the management of our water is becoming more critical. Our Water Resources team works with clients to develop solutions that mitigate the impact of development on the quantity, quality, and volume of storm water runoff. We design thoughtful water resource solutions for a variety of project types including residential, municipal infrastructure reconstruction, post-secondary campus development, hospital site development, restoration and enhancement of water courses, and bank stabilization.

Our team provides design solutions for healthcare, municipal, post-secondary, and institutional sector clients, as well as residential, commercial, and industrial developments.  We also work closely with all regulatory agencies including the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, and the local conservation authorities that are members of Conservation Ontario.

The combination of our knowledge and experience allows us to design innovative technical solutions take into account all aspects of stormwater management including rate, quantity and quality control, maintenance of water balance, sustainability, erosion and sediment control, reduced site disturbance, approval agency requirements, and environmental impacts.  We also support projects involving the protection and restoration of wetlands and open spaces.

Our people are more than just skilled designers. They are also strong communicators and excel at conducting public meetings as well as presenting project details to municipal councils.
