The WalterFedy team provided architectural, engineering, and project management services for the renovation of the Karl Homuth Arena. The project scope included numerous upgrades and renovations, such as roof repairs, including the replacement of the metal roof; washroom and change room upgrades; a new vestibule; and collapsible seating.
In an effort to remain barrier-free and provide access to everyone wishing to use the ice rink, upgrades to the wheelchair lift, including door modifications and renovations to the accessible washroom were also completed. A variety of electrical work was replaced throughout the arena, including the lighting throughout the space.
