WalterFedy provided engineering services for the construction of a new addition to the University of Guelph’s Crop Sciences building. The new addition also houses the Bioproducts Discovery and Development Centre (BDDC), one of the world’s leading research centres in the field of bio-plastics, natural fiber composites, and bio-composites. The primary goal of this project was to expand the BDDC’s research and associated economic cluster with university-industry collaboration/interaction and knowledge transfer. Construction of this project began in 2013.
