WalterFedy worked closely with Alexandra Marine and General Hospital on an ongoing basis, contributing to significant infrastructure upgrades throughout the four-storey hospital. We were involved in an extensive, six-phase renovation of fire and life-safety equipment throughout the original 1957 facility and its four additions. In addition, our team renovated areas throughout the hospital, such as the nurses’ stations, the kitchen, the laboratory, and various offices to provide increased service efficiencies and patient comfort.

The Emergency entrance was redesigned to allow for easier access and better service for both incoming ambulatory and walk-in patients. The waiting room and triage area were updated with patient comfort and privacy in mind and new finishes were employed throughout the area including the reworked nurses’ station. |
