Role at a Glance

Reporting to the Structural Engineering Team Leader, this position focuses on the structural design and calculation of projects which will include working with Structural analysis and design software as well as Revit. You will be responsible for working directly with clients to ensure their needs are met and coordinating with other design disciplines as required.

What You Will Do:

  • Co-ordinate the structural work with other design disciplines involved in each project
  • Assist with investigative engineering work
  • Assist in the design of Institutional, Commercial, Industrial, Residential and Healthcare structures
  • Maintain department analysis and design software programs
  • Assist in preparation of drawings
  • Works directly with the clients under guidance as required

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering
  • Eligible to become a registered Engineering-in-Training (EIT) through PEO
  • Co-op/internship experience in an engineering consulting firm
  • Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Experience with ETABS, Safe, Risa, Revit, software is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
