Role at a Glance
 

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of a wide range of internal projects from inception through completion. This role will actively lead, direct and manage projects with a forward-thinking, solutions-based mindset on a daily basis to ensure project success. You will monitor project performance and manage internal and external teams to ensure successful project delivery.

 

This role is uniquely positioned to act as the “Owner’s Project Manager” on projects that will ultimately benefit and support the ongoing operations and growth of WalterFedy, BSN, and AEC.

What You Will Do

  • Actively participate in and oversee the entire project life cycle from the early days of needs identification and concept development through to project implementation, providing leadership, input/feedback to the team, and overall direction.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop project scopes.
  • Work with the team to develop and monitor design strategies to ensure efficient and sustainable project delivery.
  • Support and maintain existing relationships, and develop new relationships with our internal teams, industry affiliates, engineers, technologists, technicians, and construction personnel.
  • Be aware of and effectively utilize current and new design and project management technology
  • Preparation of reports, proposals, budgets, project plans, and other supporting documentation as required
  • Monitoring project schedule, and taking corrective action as required

What We Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Science, Business, or Engineering
  • 5+ years of project management experience (owner, consultant or construction)
  • A Project Management certification such as PMP or an equivalent designation would be an asset.
