Role At a Glance


The Receptionist is responsible for greeting clients, visitors and employees at the office as well as various front desk tasks: answering phones, taking messages and receiving deliveries. This role is full-time Monday to Friday and will require hours of work between 8:00 am to 4:30 pm each day.


Additional projects and assignments will be determined based on business needs and personal development interests that align as the business continues to grow.

What You Will Do

  • Answering, forwarding, and screening phone calls
  • Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
  • Maintaining telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation
  • Assist with meeting room bookings and arranging lunches for various meetings and seminars
  • Preparing general correspondence
  • Arranging couriers and processing courier invoices and waybills
  • Maintaining security by following procedures; monitoring logbook
  • Performing administrative duties as required

 

What You Bring to the Table

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in an office environment, with preference given to candidates with experience in an architectural or engineering office environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Meticulous and accurate typing and proofreading skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Professionalism
