MUNICIPAL ROADS

Designing for the road ahead.

It is easy to take our infrastructure for granted, but without roads and the services that run beneath them, life would be exceptionally difficult. Roads need to serve all the ways people move about the community, whether by car, transit, walking or cycling.  Drawing on our experience, knowledge, and commitment to improving the quality of life, we design the roads and services that people use every day in a way that supports the environment, sustainable development, and a strong, vibrant community.

Our experience in the design of municipal road projects – both reconstruction and new roads—is extensive. We have collaborated with many municipalities including Region of Waterloo, City of Kitchener, City of Waterloo, Township of Woolwich, City of Guelph, County of Brant, and Halton Region to help them achieve their infrastructure goals.

We take ownership of each project and play an active role in managing the lifecycle. By clearly defining project objectives, engaging stakeholders, facilitating decision making, and applying sound engineering judgment, we are able to develop creative solutions to suit our client’s needs.

Our team collaborates closely with project partners to provide functional designs, detailed design, contract documents, field review, and contract administration. We also believe that public input and communication are integral to the success of these projects, and openly communicate with the community in order to minimize disturbances to residents and businesses.
